Funeral services for Sharon Sperier Warner, 60, of Marshall will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, October 20, 2016 in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Burial will follow in St. Joseph Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday, with a rosary to be held at 7 p.m. at the funeral home. Mrs. Warner passed away October 16, 2016.

Sharon Sperier Warner was born November 26, 1955 in Marshall, Texas one of twin girls born to Carl and Joyce Sperier. She attended Marshall Public Schools and later attended ETBU. On September 15, 1972 she married Virgil Larry Warner. They were married 27 years when he preceded her in death on July 14, 2000. Sharon previously worked for Marshall News Messenger, Louis A. Williams and Associates as well as Texas Bank and Trust. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren.

Surviving Sharon are her two daughters, Jennifer Warner Martin and husband Chris and Carla Warner Overhultz and husband Casey; four grandchildren, Trevor Martin, Mason Martin, Claire Overhultz and Colt Overhultz; father, Carl Sperier; twin sister, Karen Holloway and husband Steve and two brothers, Eddie Sperier and Todd Sperier.

Also surviving her are her companion, Mike Luraschi; her lifelong friend, Beverly Sallee and numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her mother, Joyce Sperier, husband, Larry Warner and one brother, Tony Sperier.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
