Sharon Fay Spruill Funeral services for Sharon Fay Spruill, 50, of Karnack will be held @ 11:00 a.m., Wednesday, November 30, 2011 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Gene Mums officiating. Interment will follow in the Colonial Gardens Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Tuesday, November 29th at the Downs Funeral Home. Miss Spruill passed away Saturday, November 26, 2011 in Marshall. Sharon was born to William Wesley Spruill and Lacy Lanell Gwilliams Schronk in Fairbanks, Alaska on July 26, 1961. She worked for Kroger-Garrison Sheetmetal as an operator. She served in the US Army. She was a member of Family Outreach, loved fishing, dancing, and yard work. Survivors are her mother, Lacy Schronk of Karnack; brothers, William Spruill of Karnack, Carl Spruill of Marshall, David Spruill of Hallsville; sister, Carol Jones of Marshall. A host of other family members and friends also survive Miss Spruill. She was preceded in death by her step-father, James Schronk. Pallbearers will be Christopher Jones, Steven Jones, Dave Young, Raymond Warden, Brian Spruill, and Waylen Simpson.
