Visitation for Shawn Michelle Ainsworth, 40, of Lafayette, Georgia will be held Friday, February 24, 2017 from 5:00p.m. - 8:00p.m. at Downs Funeral Home. A private family burial will be held Saturday. Ms. Ainsworth passed away Friday, February 17, 2017 in Chattanooga, TN.

Shawn Michelle Ainsworth was born November 08, 1976 in Augsburg, Germany to Richard Lee and Sandra Nolen Ainsworth. She was a graduate of Lafayette High School in Lafayette, GA and of the American Commercial College in Abilene, TX. For 12 years Shawn was employed by Walmart Stores, Inc. She attended services and was a member of Emmanuel Baptist Church in Lafayette.

Shawn was preceded in death by her father, Richard; paternal grandmother, Mildred Roberts Ainsworth; maternal grandparents, Velma Fay Bundy and Harvey Albert Nolen.

She is survived by her children, Caitlin Marie White and Richard James White, and her mother Sandra Nolen Gribble all of Lafayette, GA; sisters, Rachelle Lee Ainsworth Suttle and husband, Matt of Corpus Christi, TX, and Mandy Gribble Asher and husband, Justin of Lafayette, GA; brother, Jeremy Gribble and wife, Moe of Graham, WA; stepmother, Barbara Peabody Ainsworth of Abilene, TX; aunt, Ruth Ann Ainsworth of Waskom, TX; nieces, Lyra Virginia Lee "Lylee" Suttle and Savannah Asher.
