A memorial service for Sherry Shipman, 62, of Shreveport, LA, will be held 6:00 p.m., Friday, August 8, 2014 at Lone Oak Baptist Church. Ms. Shipman passed away July 31, 2014 in Bossier City, LA. Sherry Lynn Lincoln Shipman was born January 18, 1952 in Shreveport, LA to William Lincoln and Barbara Miller Lincoln. She was a nurse for Good Shepherd Medical Center for a number of years. Sherry was a member of Lone Oak Baptist Church. Surviving Sherry Shipman are her daughter, Alma Jo Staab and husband Nickolas of Virginia Beach, VA; sons, Donald Copes of Marshall, Shane Cardot and wife Stacy of Bossier City, LA; granddaughters, Jade Staab of Virginia Beach, VA, Kristen Padget of Haughton, LA, and Stormi Copes of Marshall; grandson, Nathan Cardot of Bossier City, LA; great granddaughters, Naveah Lewis of Haughton, LA, Kambree Roberts and Ja'miyah Copes, both of Marshall; her sister, Judy Fries; brother, John Lincoln; numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends. Sherry was preceded in death by her parents and two brothers.
