There will be a Memorial Service for Shirley H. Ables, 71, of Marshall at 2:00 p.m., Monday, June 24, 2013 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Ables passed away June 21, 2013 at her residence. Shirley was born in Alleghey PA on December 17, 1941 to Homer Walter and Amelia Forney Walters. She married Glen Ray Ables and was a homemaker. Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Glen Ray Ables of Marshall; two sons, Louis Demosky of Deberry, Glen Ables, Jr. & wife Ann of Tampa FL; three daughters, Kimberly Demosky of Scottsville, Cheryl McDaniel & husband Martin of Deberry, Renee Lawless & Eric of Scottsville; 8 grandchildren, 5 great grandchildren; three sisters, Pat Denardo & Bernie of Ford City PA, Peg Hunsacker of Youngstown OH, Amelia Gordon of Old Bridge NJ, and a number of nieces and nephews.
