Sonia D. Hawkins 51 passed away on October 17, 2019 at New Life Outreach Assisted Living in Longview, Texas.

Ms. Hawkins was born in Marshall, Texas she was the eldest daughter of deceased Fredrich James Hawkins and Carolyn D. Hawkins-Bell. She graduated in 1986 from Marshall High School.

She was a member of New Life Outreach Church of Longview, Texas; Elder James Thompson, Jr. is the Pastor. Sonia is survived by 4 sisters, Vickie Hawkins-Flakes, Charmette Hawkins, Cutina Hawkins, Shronda Hawkins; 4 brothers, Chris Hawkins, Michael Lynn Hawkins, Marlin Hawkins, Martin Hawkins; great aunt, Dorothy Henderson-Jenkins. Also she leaves to cherish her memory are a host of nieces, nephews, and cousins.

Funeral services will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2019 at 2:00p.m. at Downs Funeral Home located at 4608 Elysian Fields Road Marshall, Texas 75672. Visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00p.m. Friday, October 25, 2019.
