A funeral service for Stella Landers is scheduled for Thursday December 12, 2019 at 10:00a.m. at Downs Funeral Home. Doctor Danny Warbington will be officiating the service. Visitation will be held from 5:00-7:00p.m. Wednesday December 11, 2019 at Downs Funeral Home.

Stella Landers 81, of Hallsville, Texas was born July 23, 1938 in Harleton, Texas to her parents, Walter Lane George and Zadie Stella Fried. Mrs. Landers passed away Sunday December 8, 2019. She was very active up until her health would no longer allow her to do so. Mrs. Landers loved hunting, camping, fishing, vacationing, traveling and reading.

Mrs. Landers is survived by her children, Wanda Brevard and Evaleen Landers; numerous brothers and sisters; grandchildren, Tiffany Hargett and spouse, Tony, Christina Brevard, Amy Brevard, Geoffrey Cormier and Travis Cormier; great-grandchildren, Caylee Hargett, Landon Hargett, and Alex Hargett. Also left to cherish her memories are numerous nieces, nephews, extended family and friends.

Mrs. Landers is preceded in death by her husband, parents, and numerous siblings.

In lieu of flowers the family has requested that any donations be made to the Alzheimer's Foundation.
