A funeral service for Stewart Grigsby is scheduled for 1:00p.m. on Friday, November 22, 20109 at Downs Funeral Home, visitation will be held one hour prior to the service from 12:00-1:00p.m.

Stewart Grigsby was born on November 22, 1948 in Marshall, Texas to his parents, Currine Horton and James Felix Grigsby. Mr. Grigsby passed away on November 19, 2019 in Waxahachie, Texas. He was a member of Friendship Baptist Church. Mr. Grigsby was a supervisor for various construction companies. Some of Mr. Grigsby's favorite things to do were to hunt and fish.

Mr. Grigsby is survived by his children, Brandee Grigsby Padgett (Jay) and Michael Grigsby (Amber); sisters, Lisa Grigsby and Deloras Wright (Glen); five grandchildren, Haylee Padgett, Sydney Padgett, Nicholas Padgett, Makayla Grigsby, and Dylan Grigsby; great-granddaughter, Lorraine Grigsby.

Mr. Grigsby is preceded in death by his mother, father, and sister, Kay Bristow.
