Memorial services for Mrs. Sue Lazaro, 69 of Marshall will be held at 2p.m., Thursday June 16, 2011 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Sue Lazaro passed away on Tuesday, June 14, 2011 at Good Shepherd Hospital in Longview. She was born on October 10, 1941 to Bob and Vivian Hargiss in Big Spring, Texas. She had one sister Beverly Hargiss White. She lived in Dallas and Marshall until marrying USAF Master Sergeant, Adrian Lazaro. While in Germany, their son Tony was born. Two years later at Travis AFB, daughter Susan was born. They were able to spend 3 years in Okinawa with the service. After the service, the family moved to Marshall, Texas where she became co-owner of Bob's Hickory House for 20 years. Her second venture was as co-owner of Neely's with Sally Cobb. She loved her work, and her warm smile was always there to greet new customers and friends. She is survived by her husband, Adrian Lazaro; son, Tony Lazaro (Debbie); daughter, Susan Leigh(Ed); and five grandchildren- Bryton, Heather, Mackenzie, Lauren, and Carson.
