A memorial service for Susan Gill McClary, 74, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 3:00 p.m., Monday, January 3, 2022, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home.

She was born on March 21, 1947, to Hugh William McClary and Maud S. Gill McClary in Yokohama, Japan and passed away on December 27, 2021, in Karnack, Texas.

She loved riding motorcycles, horseback riding, dancing and was always ready to go. She also loved to travel and was always the life of the party and was fun to be around. Most importantly she loved her children and grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Hugh William McClary and Maud S. Gill McClary and cousin, Judy Gill Rabun.

She is survived by her children; Lori Cupples and Chris Cupples and spouse, Debbie; grandchildren, Eli Cupples, Ali Tolleson, Serra Cupples, Piper Cupples and Toby Kay Cupples; great grandchild, Rhett Paul Cupples; loving cousins, Bobbie Gill, Mary Oglesby and spouse, Larry, Jim Rabun, Anne McDonell and spouse, Sean, Jade Oglesby, Jordan Oglesby and Rabun Oglesby along with numerous other loving other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made in her honor to the Wolfe Street Foundation, 1015 Louisiana St., Little Rock, AR, 72202.
