A funeral service for T.C. Donald, 47, of Hallsville, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, July 9, 2022, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home in Marshall, Texas. A visitation will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. at the funeral home.

He was born on June 14, 1975, in Henderson, Texas to Robert Nelson and Doris Graves Nelson and passed away on July 4, 2022, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

He worked hard his whole life to provide for his family. He was a hardworking man, and after work on a hot summer day he would come home and work in the yard. If there was anything that needed to be done, he would make sure it got done. He never met a stranger and was a complete jokester. He loved bass fishing, hunting and being at the lake with family and friends. He was a son that every mother dreams of having. He was a strong, loving and caring husband and dad. He was a good friend and was there when anyone needed him. Hands down he made the best Rebel Rider beans ever.

He was one of the greatest men I ever knew.

He is preceded in death by his uncle, Hershel Graves; aunt, Linda Hawthorn and grandmother, Doris Graves.

He is survived by his parents, Robert and Doris Nelson; wife, Rebecca Donald; children, Cole Donald, Steve Donald and Chasiddy Hudson and husband, Michael; sister, Kim Nelson, Shelley Nelson and Chrystal Mills; uncle, Kenneth Graves; aunt, Breneta Baxter and best friend, Steven Talasek along with numerous cousins and other family and friends.
