Funeral services for Tammy Gail Reed Edwards, 44, of Marshall will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, September 15, 2013 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Craig Evers officiating. A time of visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, September 14, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home. Tammy passed away September 9, 2013 in Longview, TX. Tammy Gail Reed Edwards was born July 26, 1969 in Marshall, TX to Jerry Reed and Ruby Reed. She graduated from Marshall High School and Bish Mathis Secretarial Institute. Tammy was of the Baptist faith. She loved fishing, hunting, gardening and shooting. Tammy is survived by her parents, Jerry and Percillia Reed of Marshall, TX; daughter, Ashley Nicole Reed Simpson and husband Michael; son, Johnathn Leon Edwards, both of Marshall, TX; brothers, Jerry Reed, Jr. of Marshall, TX, Thomas Craver and wife Linna of Ore City, TX, Joseph Craver and wife Candice of Marshall, TX, Charles Craver and wife Taz of Ore City, TX, Kyle Furrh and wife Jeannie, Scotty Furrh, both of Marshall; sisters, Tonya Edwards and husband Joe of Marshall, Vickie Doddy of Oklahoma; grandchildren, Brittany Reed, Breanna Simpson, Michael Simpson; numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, extended family and friends. She was preceded in death by her brother, Stephen Reed and son, Justin Lewis Reed.
