A graveside service for Teresa Lynn Prestidge. 58, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Friday November 1, 2024, at Colonial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation for family and friends will be held prior to the service from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., at the Cemetery.

Teresa was born on February 15, 1966, in Wayne, Michigan to Leon Lawson and Edith Smith Lawson and passed away on October 26, 2024, in Marshall, Texas.

She loved to play pool, loved plants, but loved God and her family more than anything. She watched her church services on TV every morning and did her bible study. She had been to many places in her life, but never felt like anywhere was home until she moved to Marshall in the summer of 2011 from Idaho. She was a very blunt and outspoken person and would let you know exactly how it was. She found love again after losing her first soulmate and the two remained together until her passing. Her arms were always open to new people and she would give them the shirt off her back for them if needed. She was very protective of the ones she loved and would go to war for them. Her two daughters, grandchildren and great grandchildren were her life.

She was preceded in death by her father, Leon Lawson; her husband, Kevin Prestidge and her son, James Voss.

She is survived by her mother, Edith Lawson; daughters, Christina Schultz and Guindolyn Arnold; grandchildren, Dylan Todd, Joshua Turner, Caden Montgomery, Hailey Briggs, Brittney Arnold, Faith Arnold and Alyssa Arnold; great grandchildren, Waylon Todd and Hazel Todd and companion and best friend, Wade Moseley along with other family and friends.
