A graveside service for Terisa Smith, 67, of Harleton, Texas will be held at 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 17, 2025, at Smyrna Cemetery in Harleton.

Terisa was born on August 12, 1957, in Marshall, Texas to Donald Earl McMichael and Mary Elizabeth Clark and passed away on June 14, 2025, in Harleton, Texas.

She loved animals, fishing, camping and coon hunting. She loved to talk so if you ever got on the phone with her, it would be a while. She loved crocheting, cooking and spending time with her grandchildren. There was nothing she wouldn't do for her grandchildren. She loved fussing at her husband and was always picking on him. She loved him, loved the Lord, and enjoyed going to church. "She truly believed in the Lord."

She was preceded in death by her father, Earl McMichael; stepdad, Morris Mitchell; daughter, Ashley Patino and brother-in-law, Mike Bernard.

She is survived by her husband, Jesse Dean Smith; mother, Mary Mitchell; son, Donald Maxey; brother, Sam McMichael and wife, Debbie; sisters, Kathy Bernard and Valerie Louise Moreland and husband, Bobby; grandchildren, Tristen Maxey, Matt Smith-Patino, DJ Maxey and wife, Cassie and Ashley Vaughn and four great grandchildren along with other family and friends.
