Rusty Rustenhaven officiating. Following the service, the family will receive family and friends. Thomas passed away to eternal life Friday, October 1, 2010. Thomas Eugene Skinner was born December 31, 1941 to Thomas Chapel Skinner and Zelma Weaver Skinner, who preceded him in death. Tom served in the United States Navy and was employed by Allstate Insurance as a catastrophe insurance adjuster across the United States. He was an avid fisherman, baseball and softball player and basketball fan. Tom will be sorely missed by his family and many friends; however, he will have a front row seat in Heaven watching sweet Madie as she does wonderful things. He is survived by his children Marti Lynn Lewis and fiancé Justin Landrum and Madison (Matt) Thomas Skinner and wife Kristen; two precious grandchildren, Molly Michael Skinner and Madison (Madie) Michelle Skinner; three brothers, Marlin Skinner and wife Pat, Stanley Skinner and wife Joan and Bradley Skinner and wife Margaret; numerous nieces and nephews and a very special friend, Donovan Boutwell and step- grandchildren, Jesse and Remington Boutwell. The family wishes to express special thanks to Hawkins Creek Assisted Living, Andy, Theresa, Kim, and Texas Home Health Hospice for the outstanding care during Tom's illness.
