A memorial service will be held for Timothy Shawn Elliott on Saturday, November 19, 2022, at 11:00 am at Harleton Baptist Church, with Rev. Craig Evers and Rev. Brent Lowry officiating. Timothy (Timmy) went home to be with the Lord, November 4, 2022, at his home in Harleton, after suffering from multiple health problems.

He was born April 26, 1969, in Gladewater to David and Carol Elliott. Timmy graduated from Harleton High School in 1989 and attended East Texas Baptist College for a short time. He married Janell Sanders on July 14, 2001, at Harleton Baptist Church.

Timmy delivered newspapers for the Marshall News Messenger for over thirty years before doctors advised him in November 2021 to quit working due to health problems. He loved to laugh, tell stories, watch movies, play with his dog, and listen to gospel music.

He is survived by his mom, Carol Elliott, and his wife, Janell, both of Harleton; (uncles and aunts) Barry and Debra Gluck and Mike and Peggy Copeland, cousins, and friends. He was preceded in death by his father, David Elliott; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. LE Brewer and Mr. and Mrs. Jack Elliott.
