A memorial service for Tina Lynn Lester, 65, of Woodlawn, Texas will be held at 2:00 pm, Sunday February 26, 2023, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home.

Tina was born on August 11, 1957, in Waco, Texas to James Simpson Lester and Cobina Maxine Pittman and passed away on February 16, 2023, in Marshall, Texas.

She was employed at J&L Automotive as the quality control supervisor. In her spare time, she would be found spending time with her family, friends, and her beloved dog Honey. She had a big personality, and a big heart; always helping others and claiming her gratitude to God for her blessings.

She is preceded in death by her parents, James and Cobina Lester.

She is survived by her children, Mandy Lynn Burton and husband, Kenny, Heather Renee' Lester (Keith Collins); grandchildren, Tyler Rhodes, Tanner Rhodes and wife, Maci, Davan Lester, Blane Thomas, Kortney Thomas, Kyndall Burton and Karmelo Hadnot; great grandson, Truett Rhodes; brother, James Lester and wife, Laura and Gene Watwood and wife, Kem and special friend and soul mate, William Ellis along with numerous other family and friends.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to the Wounded Warrior Project or to A Pit Bull Rescue.
