On January 2, 2023, at the age of 60, Tina Kaye McGee Buchanan passed away peacefully in her home.

Tina was born on Valentine's Day, February 14, 1962, in Gladewater, Texas to Bobby and Ruth McGee. She was the middle daughter of three. She attended Gladewater schools. Tina loved her family and loved her Lord fiercely. She was always an active person. She enjoyed being outside gardening and being in the sun. Tina was a hard worker. She drove log trucks for her dad and worked at their grocery store. She also spent time working on pipelines. She loved animals, especially horses. She would never pass up a good cold Dr. Pepper. She had a smile that would light up a room and a heart of gold. She will be missed dearly.

She is preceded in death by her father, Charles 'Bobby' McGee.

Left to cherish her memories are her former husband of 10 years, Buck Buchanan; mother, Alma Ruth McGee; sisters, Terry Lea Kerns and husband, Kevan, Tammie Ruth Parsons and husband Darel; her two children, Laurie Allison Sipes and husband, Wesley and Charles 'Bubba' McGee and wife, Brandy; four grandsons, Dylan McGee, Damon Yandle, Braydon Yandle, and Holden Sipes; great grandson, Neo Yandle as well as her aunts, cousins, and nieces.

A Celebration of Life service will be held at East Mountain Baptist Church in Gilmer on Saturday, January 7th at 2:00PM.
