TJ Davis was born on March 1, 1996 in Shreveport, Louisiana to Todd and Shannon Davis. He went to be with his Lord and Savior on May 23, 2015 as the result of injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was very strong in his faith, which he shared through "his winning smile", and sharing God's word with everyone he met. He was loved by everyone who knew him or came in contact with him. He was a member at First Baptist Church of Marshall, and also attended First Baptist of Bossier City. TJ was very active in all sports while attending high school in Harleton, especially football. He was also an avid outdoorsman, who loved hunting, fishing and especially duck hunting. He worked as a service man for Jeff's Pool Service/Kenco. He will be remembered and sorely missed by his parents, Todd and Shannon Davis of Marshall/Harleton; fiance', Brandi Williams of Harleton; brother, Will Davis of Marshall/Harleton; maternal grandmother, Jan Rogers Freeman of Marshall; paternal grandparents, Jeff and Drucilla Davis of Marshall; paternal great grandmother, Doris Graves of Marshall; numerous cousins, aunts, uncles and many friends. Funeral services for TJ will be 2:00 p.m., Tuesday, May 26, 2015 in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Reverends Kevin Hall and Gary Earle officiating. Interment will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m., Tuesday preceding the funeral service at Downs Funeral Home.
