Millard Thomas Finley was born December 20, 1930 in Montague County, Texas to Thomas Finley and Oma Reed. At a young age he joined the United States Army where he served his country honorably. Having lived life to the fullest, Tom lived in various places including Hobbs, New Mexico, Dimmit, Texas, and Harrison County, Texas for more than 40 years. With each move came a new adventure. As a rancher he raised cutting horses and cattle. As a law enforcement officer of 42 years, he served his local community with dignity. During his years in law enforcement he raised and trained K-9's. He loved his wife, Georgia and his family dearly. He was a man's man and a Christian man attending services at Mulberry Springs Baptist Church for many years. Tom believed in serving the Lord, his country and his community.

Surviving Tom are his two daughters, Melissa Finley Watkins and Mellinda Finley Craig; and grandchildren, Baylee Allison Trice and Thomas Andrew Craig.

Preceding him death are his parents, Thomas Finley and Oma Reed and his wife, Georgia Faye Finley.
