Funeral services for Tony Cupples, 49, of Marshall will be held on Saturday, January 7, 2017 at 2 p.m., in the chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Donald Robinette officiating. Burial will follow in Colonial Gardens Cemetery. A visitation will be held on Friday, January 6, 2017 from 5-7 p.m., at Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Cupples passed away January 3, 2017.

Tony Cupples was born August 21, 1967 in Tampa, FL to Woody Cupples and Mary Alice Jones Cupples. He was a life-long resident of Marshall and attended Cypress Valley Bible Church.Tony enjoyed fishing and playing golf.

Surviving Tony are his parents, Woody and Mary Cupples; son, Shawn Cupples and wife Morgan of Dallas, TX.; daughter, Tiffany Heath and husband Ryan of Atlanta, TX.; three grandchildren, Kaylee and Keelon Cupples of Dallas, TX. and Brantley Heath of Atlanta, TX. Also surviving Tony are his brother, Don Cupples and wife Lori of Marshall and relatives, Jerry and Pat Foley and Misty Foley all of Marshall. He was preceded in death by his grandparents, MC and Katie Cupples, Lee and Faye Jones, Lloyd and Laverne Poe. He was also preceded in death by Christy Fullbright.

Serving as pallbearers will be Judd Jones, Josh Lair, JW Lair, Jeff Stephens, Max Thompson and Bobby Decker. Honorary pallbearers are Ty Lair and Dennis Lowery.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations in Tony's name be made to the American Diabetes Foundation.
