Tony Wayne Sexton, 37, was born April 22, 1977 to Ronald and Sandra Sexton in Hobbs, New Mexico. Tony passed away Friday, October 3, 2014 at his home in Marshall. As a disabled person from birth, Tony was lovingly cared for at home by his adoring parents. A visitation will be held from 5pm to 7pm, Monday, October 6, 2014, at Downs Funeral Home in Marshall, TX. Funeral services will be 2pm Tuesday, October 7, 2014, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with interment at Yates Cemetery in Scottsville, TX. Tony enjoyed watching baseball and listening to music, but his greatest joy came from playing with his beloved nieces and nephews. Tony attended Sunset Missionary Baptist Church. Left to cherish his memory are his parents, Ronald and Sandra Sexton of Marshall; one sister and brother-in-law, Mary and Kenneth Grogan of Marshall; two brothers and sisters-in-law, Joe and Vickie Sexton of Gladewater, Texas and Mike and Tonya Sexton of Jourdanton, TX; his precious nephews and nieces, Justin and wife, Courtney Pipkin, Nick Grogan, D.J. Grogan and wife, Ashley, all of Marshall, Levi Foshee, Caleb and Hunter Harvey, all of Jourdanton, Texas, Tori Sexton of Gladewater, Texas, Madison Sexton of Brownsboro, Texas, and Kaitlyn Harvey of Jourdanton, TX; his great-nephews and niece, Landon and Jaxon Pipkin, and Kynzie Lewis all of Marshall; his grandmother, Elizabeth Ann Smith of Marshall, TX, and a host of aunts, uncles and cousins. Pallbearers are Joe Sexton, Mike Sexton, Kenneth Grogan, Justin Pipkin, Nick Grogan and D.J. Grogan.
