Udean
Coulter
Sep 2, 1931 — May 18, 2017
God only picks the most beautiful roses from His garden. On May 18, 2017 He chose the prettiest, strongest rose when He wrapped His loving arms around our family matriarch and took her home.
She came into this world on September 2, 1931 in Hill County, TX. Upon her arrival in heaven there was a joyful reunion with her mother, brothers, uncles, aunts, son, grandson, daughter-in-law and many other loved ones that went home before her.
She was a strong woman and worked hard her whole life. She helped support her family starting at the very young age of 10 by picking cotton. In her lifetime she worked many different jobs and nothing was too menial. She was raised on farms in Hill County, TX. She had limited formal education. She was self educated and earned her GED. To her, education was the most important thing you could do for yourself.
Left to celebrate her life are her wonderful and loving husband of 51 years, Joe Coulter, her son Robert Hickey, daughter Carolyn DeLeon and her daughters and sons- in-law, Peggy & Billy McCreary, Barbara & Orion Shockey, and her brother, C.J. Baxter and sister-in-law, Dorothy Baxter, 12 grandchildren, 29 grt- grandchildren, and 6 grt- grt-grandchildren.
Her Life Celebration will be held May 27, 2017 at 11am at Mt. Zion Methodist Church, Panola, TX.Saturday
