Funeral services for Velma Jones Nunley will be held Wednesday, May 27, 2015, at Adina Christian Church in Lexington, TX with interment to follow in Adina Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 1:30-2:00 p.m., prior to the service at Adina Christian Church. Velma Jones Nunley was born August 21, 1938, in Austin, TX, to Andrew William Mouser and Carrie Moore Mouser. She passed away May 24, 2015, in Longview, TX. Mrs. Nunley was employed by Texas Instruments on the assembly line. She married Lem Harvey Jones, Jr., who preceded her in death and later she married James Numley, who also preceded her in death. Surviving Mrs. Nunley are her daughter, Marsha Wells of Henderson, TX; her 2 sons, Gary Jones of West Columbia, TX, Craig Jones of Marshall, TX; 2 sisters, Thelma Simmons of Bertram, TX, Frances Moore of Kerrville, TX; 1 brother, A.C. Mouser of Georgetown, TX; 2 grandchildren, Jennifer Clark, Casey Jones; 5 great grandchildren; other extended family and friends.
