Funeral services for Verna Inez Beesinger, 85, of Marshall, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Friday, June 5, 2015, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Scott Tagert and Bro. Pete Sellers officiating. Interment will follow at Colonial Gardens Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Thursday, June 4, 2015, at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Beesinger passed away June 1, 2015, in Marshall. Verna Inez Beesinger was born October 30, 1929, in Whiteflatt, TX, to Martin Lewis Ervin and Mable Inez Glover Ervin. Inez married Lewis Beesinger on March 13, 1948, in Littlefield, TX. He preceded her in death on January 13, 2012. Inez was owner and operator of a bakery. She was a member of Hillcrest Baptist Church. Surviving Mrs. Beesinger are her sons, David Beesinger and wife Judy, Richard Beesinger and wife Barbara, Scott Beesinger and wife Joell, all of Marshall; sister-in-law, Nadine Hoffman of Tulsa, OK; brother, Jim Ervin and wife T.C. of Snyder, TX; grandchildren, Matthew David Beesinger and wife Laura of San Antonio, TX, Joshua Bradley Beesinger of Marshall, Caleb Scott Beesinger of Marshall, James David Ritter of Marshall, Jennifer Marie Spradlin of Toledo, OH, Jennifer Laine Mendez of San Antonio, TX, Emily Paige Beesinger of Marshall, TX; great grandchildren, Taylor Matthew Beesinger of San Antonio, TX, Kailey Rose Mendez of San Antonio, TX, Madelynn Brook Mendez of San Antonio, TX, Katie Elizabeth Spradlin of Toledo, OH, Tyler Michael Spradlin of Toledo, OH, Austin Blake Ritter of Marshall, TX; 1 special niece, Dawn Lenell Peterson and husband Bob of Arlington, TX; several nieces and nephews, other extended family and friends. Pallbearers will be Matthew David Beesinger, Joshua Bradley Beesinger, James David Ritter, Caleb Scott Beesinger, Taylor Matthew Beesinger, Rick Beesinger, Scott Beesinger, and John Granger.
