Funeral services for Vickie Lynn Ratcliff Hudson, 58, of Marshall, will be held at 2:00 p.m., Sunday, March 1, 2015, at Victory Baptist Church of Marshall with Bro. Ron Segers officiating. Interment will follow at Yates Cemetery in Scottsville. A time of visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, February 28, 2015, at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Hudson passed away February 26, 2015 in Marshall. Vickie Lynn Ratcliff Hudson was born June 22, 1956, in Marshall, to Harold Wayne and Carolyn Ann Wesson Ratcliff. She was a graduate of Marshall High School, and had been a member of the High School Band. Vickie married Billy Wayne Hudson on September 28, 1974 in Marshall. They were blessed with four children, Carrie, Bo, William and Jeremy. She was a member of Victory Baptist Church. Mrs. Hudson loved to travel. Surviving Mrs. Hudson are her husband, Billy Wayne Hudson of Marshall; her mother, Carolyn Ratcliff Stracener; her children, Carrie Ford and husband Kevin of Marshall, Bo Hudson and wife Destiny of San Antonio, William Hudson and wife Crystal of Hallsville, Jeremy Hudson of Nacogdoches; siblings, Deneisha Ratcliff Walden of Marshall, D'Anna Ratcliff Minton of Kilgore, Harold Wayne Ratcliff and wife Ellen of Marshall; 6 grandchildren, Jacob Ford, Gavin Hudson, Zackary Hudson, Zoe Hudson, Kara Hudson and Kaleigh Batres; John Davis and family, best friend, Janette Creasy; and numerous other family and friends. Vickie was preceded in death by her father, Harold Wayne Ratcliff.
