A funeral service for Wanda Brown, 76 of Marshall, Texas will be held on Wednesday, February 10, 2021 at 11:00 a.m. at Downs Funeral Home. Interment will be held at Pope City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 6:00 - 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, February 9, 2021 at Downs Funeral Home.

Wanda Brown, 76 of Marshall, Texas was born on January 9, 1945 in Arizona to her parents, Jeffery Parker and Laura Jones. Mrs. Brown passed away at her family home on February 6, 2021. Wanda married the love of her life, Eugene Brown, he preceded her in death in 2001.

Mrs. Brown is survived by five daughters, Jeannie Tietge of McGregor, Minnesota, Laura Allen of Tyler, Texas, Marie Briggs (Robert) of Marshall, Texas, Sara Abbott (Charles) of Waskom, Texas, and Shannon Stanford (Greg) of Center, Texas; two sons, Wayne Brown (Darlene) of Mena, Arkansas and James Brown of Marshall, Texas; brother, Jimmy Parker (Gayle) of Corpus Christi. She is also survived by a number of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Brown is preceded in death by her parents; husband; daughter, Sandy Whaley; two sisters; and one brother.
