Funeral services for Wanda Kelding, 54, of Marshall, TX will be held 2:00 p.m., Sunday, October 26, 2014 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home with Bro. Seth Buckner officiating. Interment will follow in Yates Memorial Gardens Cemetery. A time of visitation will be held from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Saturday, October 25, 2014 at Downs Funeral Home. Mrs. Kelding passed away October 20, 2014 at her home. Wanda Myrl Raska Kelding was born March 31, 1960 in Jennings, LA to William Raska and Leona Tate Wood. Wanda attended Yoakum High School, and was a 1982 graduate of ETBC. She was an elementary school teacher for 22 years. She loved being a Nana, "making memories", taking pictures and going to the Jefferson General Store or the Dollar Tree. She was a member of Heritage Baptist Church in Jefferson. Wanda married Lloyd Kelding on July 18, 1981 in Marshall, TX. Surviving Wanda are her husband, Lloyd Kelding of Marshall; daughters, Janice Jones and husband Andy of Olney, TX, Joy Kelding of McKinney, TX, Judith Rooker and husband Tim of Arlington, TX; brothers, Tommy W. Raska and wife Sandra of Blanchard, LA, Larry Starr and wife Kathy of Marshall; sister, Laura Riley and husband Daniel of Houston, TX; 12 grandchildren and one on the way; and a number of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. Preceding Wanda in death were her parents, aunts and uncles. Pallbearers will be Andy Jones, Tim Rooker, Chris Riley, Joseph Riley, Shane Starr and Scotty Starr. Honorary pallbearers will be Nathan, Nicholas, and Noah Kelding, Jeff Pena, Gene Flores and Michael Elizondo.
