A graveside service for Wanda McBride, 77, of Marshall, Texas will be held at 1:00 p.m., Tuesday, January 28, 2024, at Piney Cemetery in Harleton, Texas. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m., Monday, January 27, 2025, at Downs Funeral Home.

Wanda was born on March 31, 1947, in Harleton, Texas to Roy Roe Oney and Bessie Marie Clark Oney and passed away on January 21, 2025, at her home in Marshall, Texas.

She married Calvin Columbus McBride on April 15, 1965, in Marshall, Texas and the two remained married until his passing in 2020. She loved her husband more than anything. She loved bowling, golfing, Elvis and shopping online. She enjoyed traveling and feeding the birds. She loved her grandkids, her family and would give you the shirt off her back. Her main goal was to always make everyone happy.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Roy Oney and Bessie Oney Page; her loving husband, Calvin McBride; one brother; three sisters; daughter-in-law, Jennifer McBride; son-in-law, Matthew Keith and granddaughter, Madison McBride.

She is survived by her children, Rodney McBride, Daren McBride and Joy McBride; sister, Linda Cochran and husband, Ken; grandchildren, Cassie McBride, Joshua McBride, Allison McBride, Christian Keith, Jacob McBride, Tommy Keith, Donavan Keith and Alexander Williams; numerous great grandchildren and numerous nieces, nephews and other family and friends.
