W.C. Williams passed away peacefully from our earthly world into the loving arms of his Savior Jesus, on January 20, 2016 after a brief illness. W.C. lived a long and happy life filled with much family and many friends. He had a larger than life personality and loved to tell old time stories to anyone that would sit and listen.

W.C. was born in Marshall, Texas on April 19, 1934 in a barn on his family property north of town. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1953 where he was a member of the Marshall Maverick Football team. After graduation, he joined the United States Air Force where he was stationed at Andrews Air Force Base in Homestead, FL.

He was a lifelong member of Summit United Methodist Church of Marshall and had a strong faith in our Lord. He said in his last days that he was tired and ready to meet Jesus. He enjoyed visiting friends and bringing laughter to each one he shared time with. W.C. was a member of the Harrison County Cattleman's Association. He loved his cows, dogs, kids and football.

He was preceded in death by his parents, his first wife and mother of his children, Joan Mullins Williams and a granddaughter, Kristi Turner.

W.C. married Sandi Hammonds in 1997 where they blended their two families into on big loving bunch.

He is survived by his wife Sandi Williams; children, Rhonda and Steve Turner, Allen and Leslie Williams, Chris Williams, Becky and Ronny Scasta, Mike and Lisa Hammonds, Shari and Randy Schultz and Bobby and Traci Hammonds.
