Services for Wendy Coleman, 63, of Keithville, Louisiana will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, August 4, 2026, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Providence Cemetery in Ringgold, Louisiana. A visitation for family and friends will be held from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., Monday, August 3, 2026, at the funeral home.

Wendy was born on November 20, 1962, in Ringgold, Louisiana to Jimmy Duane Morgan Sr. and Ruth Anne Bolyer and passed away on July 29, 2026, in Shreveport, Louisiana.

She resided in Dallas, Texas for several years where she worked in the service industry and met many famous people. She moved back to Shreveport, Louisiana around 2009. She loved fishing, gardening and cooking. She was the primary caregiver for her mother, Ruth.

She was preceded in death by her father, Jimmy Duane Morgan Sr. and sisters, Daphne Verhayden and Bonnie Morgan.

She is survived by her mother, Ruth Anne Bolyer Matthews; husband, Johnny Zuniga; step-mother, Maxine Morgan; children, Jeremy Phillips and wife, Shannon Milner and Matthew Phillips and wife, Marie; sister, Angela Morgan Gray and husband, Todd; brother, Jimmy Morgan II and wife, Rachel; grandchildren, Andrew Phillips, Caroline Phillips, Harper Phillips, Bailey Barnes and Sydney Barnes; niece, Jennifer Gullette and husband, Kevin and their children Aubrey and Madelyn and grandniece, Victoria Verhayden along with other family and friends.
