William Jeffrey Hawkins was born on May 19, 1947, in Mansfield, La to William Noah "Bill" Hawkins and Myra Elosie Morton Hawkins.  He left this earth and entered into eternal rest on June 1, 2023, after a courageous battle with Liver Disease.

He is preceded in death by his parents, grandparents: Andrew and Rosa Hawkins and Charlie and Cora Morton, sisters: Cathy Hawkins Woods and Myra Suzanne Hawkins.

Left to cherish his memory are his beloved wife of 38 ½ years Felicia Hawkins of Panola Tx, his children: William Justin Hawkins and wife of Liberty City, Tx, Kristy Keys and husband Kevin of Center, Tx, Lindsey Smith and husband Tyler of DeBerry, Tx, his grandchildren Krystal Keys, Makinlee and Braylen Hawkins, and Sawyer and Harper Smith, Sister Judy Wilkerson and husband Kenneth "Rip" of Mansfield, La, numerous nieces, nephews, family, friends, Special friends Ricky Smith of Juaquin, Tx and Claudia Cawthorne Heard of Mansfield, La and his 2 dogs Abby and Bo.

A memorial service will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 7, 2023, in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home.
