Obituary

A memorial service for William Morris Eldridge, 56, of Marshall will be held at 2pm Saturday, February 06, 2016 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Eldridge passed away Tuesday, February 02, 2016 at his home surrounded by his loving family.

William Morris "Moe" Eldridge was born September 24, 1959 in Marshall, Texas. He was raised by loving parents Charles and Elsie Dosier. A graduate of Marshall High School and a lifelong resident of Marshall, Moe was known by many and loved by all. He had an outgoing personality and never met a stranger. While in high school he served in 4H where he showed cows all over the state of Texas. In his life he served many in East Texas as a skilled carpenter. He enjoyed building and creating things, especially for his friends. A lover of music and people it was only fitting that Moe open his own small business, Mom's Biker Bar in Longview.

Mr. Eldridge is survived by his parents, Charles and Elsie Dosier; son, Denver Eldridge; daughter, Lauren Eldridge; brother, Mike Oney and wife, Gretchen; sister, Susan Wingate; four grandchildren, William Blake Porter, Greenleigh Eldridge, Gracyn Eldridge, Kaylee Dorough; and numerous nieces, extended family and friends.
