A memorial service for William Edward Lackey, 50, of Jefferson will be held 3:00 p.m., Saturday, March 10, 2012 in the Chapel of Scottsville Camp & Conference Center, 400 Harkins Lane, Scottsville, TX. Mr. Lackey passed away February 24, 2012 in Longview. Mr. Lackey was born June 20, 1961 in Orange, Texas to Thomas Edward and Linda Ann Bonnin Lackey. He was an iron worker for a construction firm. Mr. Lackey married Roberta Lackey on January 1, 2010 in Marshall. He is survived by his wife, Roberta Lackey of Jefferson; sons, Joseph O. and Kayla Lackey of East Bay, GA, Christopher A. Lackey and Matthew E. Lackey, both of Orange, TX; grandchildren, Aiden and Amber; sister, Evelyn and Kent Adams of Houston, TX; step daughters, Marsha Diane and Patrick Maurer of Keithville, LA, Shelly Ann and Greg Clark of Haughton, LA and Cynthia Bates of Jefferson, TX; and step grandchildren, Dustin, Richard, Dylan, Jordan, Rebecca and Cheyenne.
