Mr. William E. McAfee, Sr., son of Mr. Howard L. McAfee and Julia Hart McAfee was born July 16, 1945 in Harrison County, Texas. William united with the Southside Church of Christ. William received his education in the Marshall Public Schools. William united in marriage to Sabrina Williams McAfee. William passed away August 23, 2013 at his home. He leaves to mourn his passing and cherish his memory, his wife Sabrina McAfee; one daughter, Deborah McAfee of Marshall; six sons, William E. McAfee of Dallas, Kerry L. McAfee, Keneyone McAfee, Jemille McAfee, all of Marshall, Floyd (Feleshia) Langston, Lloyd Langston, both of Dallas; daughter-in-law, Tometia McAfee of Marshall; two sisters, Velma J. Lowe, Myrtle Wynn, both of Los Angeles, CA; one brother, John W. (Karen) McAfee of Midland, TX; aunt, Ruby J. Sneed of Ft. Worth; two sisters-in-law, Lillie McAfee of Port Arthur, Lucille McAfee of CA; ten grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and numerous nieces, nephew and relatives. William was preceded in death by his father and mother, Howard and Julia McAfee, one sister, Juanita Hearne; three brothers, Howard, Jimmie and Robert McAfee; and one son, Nakiea McAfee. A time of visitation will be held 6:00-8:00 P.M., Friday, August 30, 2013 at Downs Funeral Home. Funeral services will be held 2:00 P.M., Saturday, August 31, 2013 at Westside Church of Christ with Bro. W. Newhouse officiating. Interment will follow at Athens Cemetery near Hallsville.
