Funeral services for Wille Lee "Doug" Hodge will be held at 10:00 a.m., Saturday, October 20, 2012 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home. Interment will follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery. Mr. Hodge passed away October 12, 2012 in Longview. Willie Lee Hodge was born February 23, 1945 in Woodlawn, Texas to Willie Hodge, Sr. and Loretta Howard Hodge. Willie was a member of Woodlawn Baptist Church. He loved to sing and play dominoes. Willie worked as a truck driver for LaidLaw Waste Systems for 10 years. Willie is survived by, his wife, Carroll Hodge of Marshall; daughter, Latresha Black of Dallas; step-children, Sharon Bibbs of Houston, Shaunda McLane of Marshall, Izia Clough, Jr. of Marshall, Melissa Ilaida and Patricia Wilkins both of Dallas; brothers, Lonnell Hodge of Marshall and Calvin Hodge of Dallas; sisters, Mary Carter of Marshall, Joetta Taylor of Longview, Travis Dixon of Dallas, Gloria Knighten of San Antonio, Betty Willie of Dallas and Anneathia Small of Longview; and a number of granchildren, great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other relatives.
