Graveside services for Willis Clark Lindsay, 71, of Jonesville, TX, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Monday, June 22, 2015, at Restland Cemetery in Waskom, TX with Buddy Killion officiating. A time of visitation will be held from 4:00-6:00 p.m., Sunday, June 21, 2015, at Downs Funeral Home. Mr. Lindsay passed away June 18, 2015 in Shreveport, Louisiana. Willis Clark Lindsay was born August 5, 1943 in Shreveport, LA, to Walter Clark Lindsay and Audell Philan Lindsay. He served his country in the U.S. Army. Mr. Lindsay was an engineer with Bell South Telephone, and a farmer. He was a member of Robert A. Tompkins Lodge #1254 AF&AM. Surviving Mr. Lindsay are his wife, Joan Lindsay of Jonesville; his mother, Audell Lindsay of Jonesville; son, Jeffrey Lindsay of Waskom; brother, Lane Lindsay of London, England; grandson, Zeke Wallace of Jonesville; and other relatives and friends. Preceding Mr. Lindsay in death were his father, Walter Lindsay and daughter, Leslie Lindsay. In lieu of flowers, the family requests memorials be given to El Karubah Shriner's Hospital, 6230 S Lakeshore Dr., Shreveport, LA 71119.
