A memorial service for Wini Boyd, 79, will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, March 2, 2022 in the Chapel of Downs Funeral Home in Marshall, Texas.

She was born on November 1, 1942, in Longview, Texas to LeRoy Hickey and Winifred Rogers Hickey and passed away on February 12, 2022, at her home in Waskom, Texas.

In her earlier years she loved to fish and enjoyed crafting. She worked for Waskom schools for many years.  She enjoyed attending auctions every Saturday night, but most of all she loved spoiling her grandkids and great grandkids.

She is preceded in death by her parents, LeRoy and Winifred Hickey; husband of 51 years, James Boyd; brother, Roy Le Hickey and son-in-law, Chris Alford.

She is survived by her children, Stan Boyd and wife, Sherry, Kelly Alford and Angel Botzong and husband, Glen; sister, Rutha Jo Gardner; grandchildren, Hillary Wisk and husband, Larry, Jason Roberts and wife, April, Jarred Roberts, Matthew Alford, Marshal Alford, Jade Adams, Russell Gallion, Katie Scott, Robbie Botzong and Courtney Botzong; great grandchildren, James Wisk, Wyatt Wisk, Joshua Roberts, Ella Roberts, Aliyah Roberts, Grayson Roberts, Derrick Wilburn, Alice Alford, Shantel Alford, Stephen Alford, James Alford, Noah Higgins and Xander Scott.

In lieu of flowers the family requests that donations be made in her honor to Joshua's Journey @ Texas National Bank- Jacksonville.
